At SPS, häwa GmbH is presenting concepts for control cabinet construction and climate management. The focus of the company’s exhibition is a cooling solution for control cabinets that operates using natural refrigerants. By eliminating the use of conventional fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases), the cooling unit complies with current environmental regulations and helps users reduce the CO2 footprint of their machines and systems. The cooling units regulate the temperature inside the enclosures to dissipate waste heat from electronic components and prevent overheating.
The presentation of this cooling technology is part of the company’s sustainability strategy; the company has already achieved its CO2 reduction target for 2035 a full ten years ahead of schedule and powers its entire production with renewable electricity. In addition to the cooling units, häwa is showcasing other products from its portfolio, including the X-Frame enclosure series for flexible machine enclosures, standardized electrical cabinets, and services for the design and assembly of systems.
