IP54–IP69

IEC 60529 – TYPE RATING

The IP type rating according to IEC 60529 classifies protection against foreign objects, dust, and water. IP65 provides complete protection against dust and water jets—IP69 additionally protects against high-pressure cleaning with hot water. häwa enclosures are available up to IP69 and are therefore suitable for the hardest field conditions.

IK07–IK10

IEC 62262 – IMPACT RESISTANCE

The IK rating measures the mechanical impact resistance of enclosures. IK10—the highest rating—indicates protection against impact energies of 20 joules. For military applications, where vibrations from vehicle operation, explosions, or handling occur, this is an essential criterion.

EMC SHIELDING / IEC 61439
