Our EMC enclosure
High-frequency (HF) shielding is necessary to protect sensitive microelectronics from electromagnetic interference. Electrical radiation is generated by radar, radio transmitters, lightning strikes, etc. This can cause malfunctions, e.g., in communication technology, or even destroy semiconductor components. Another aspect is the prevention of unwanted radiation into the environment.
häwa standard enclosures made of sheet steel and stainless steel offer sufficient EMC protection for many applications thanks to the Faraday cage. The Sendzimir galvanized mounting plate allows for large-area equipotential bonding.
We increase the shielding for you with the EMC/IP special gasket and other measures. The shielding attenuation was measured on closed enclosures by an independent institute in accordance with VG 95373, Part 15 and VG 95370, Part 15 and serves as a guide for selecting enclosures.

Product description
- Single-door wall-mount enclosure.
- Optionally with or without mounting plate.
- Protective ground connection in accordance with DIN EN 61439-1, M6x16 bolt on door and body.
- Double-stamped frame and narrow door gap prevent dirt and water from entering when the door is opened.
- Door with EMC/IP special seal, standard stop on the right.
- Hidden hinges, made of steel or stainless steel, opening angle 180°.
- Lock: up to H-400 mm with 1 quarter turn latch lock, from H-401 mm with 2 quarter turn latch locks, from H-801 mm with 3-point locking, standard operation 3 mm double mandrel.
- Doors from height 400 mm on both sides with reinforcement/perforated profile with mounting holes Ø 4.2 mm in 25 mm grid.
- Bottom with external cable entry plates with EMC/IP special seal or closed.
- Mounting plate depth-adjustable, flanged mounting plate fixed position.
- Wall mounting: holes tightly sealed with screws.
- Type rating designed according to IP52.
