Whistleblower protection and reporting of compliance violations

To ensure compliance with laws and internal regulations, we rely on the assistance of our employees and external whistleblowers. We implement all measures of the German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) to provide them with the best possible support.

The purpose of this law is to protect the whistleblower and facilitate reporting. Whistleblowers are thus specifically protected from consequences and disadvantages under employment law.

The HinSchG deals exclusively with notices in a professional context and concerns the following areas, among others

    • Violations of criminal provisions under German law
    • Regulatory offenses, insofar as they relate to the protection of life, limb and health or the protection of the rights of employees or their representative bodies

This includes, for example, violations of the following requirements

    • Health protection
    • Occupational safety
    • Environmental/radiation protection
    • Data protection
    • Violations of the General Equal Treatment Act (protection against discrimination, sexual harassment, etc.)
    • Violations of the Minimum Wage Act
    • Violations of anti-money laundering regulations, etc.

We have set up an internal reporting office (whistleblower platform) to receive reports. This can be accessed via hinweis@haewa.com or using the form below.
